THE VILLAGES MOTOR RACING FAN CLUB HALL OF FAME During its first three years
of operation, The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club was fortunate to have a
number of stars and spokespeople from the world of motor racing join us to share
their experiences. Through these great folks, we've been able to achieve our
objective of continually bringing varying content to our meetings, and we've
been able to fulfill our mission of covering a wide variety of motor racing
venues. We've addressed stock car racing on both dirt
and asphalt, drag racing, sports car racing, and even air racing, proving
that we are truly generic "motorheads."
After all, racing is racing! To recognize those great people who have graced
us with their presence, we established our Hall of Fame and have instituted a
year-end recognition event that serves to honor those who have spent time
with us and who have gone beyond the call, so to speak, to share their
expertise with us. In case you missed the earlier postings of our Hall of
Fame Inductees, you can look back on the two groups we've inducted so far by
scrolling below. It is an honor to be associated with these racing icons and
ambassadors of the sport, and we look forward to continuing our relationship
with them in the years ahead! Our "Hall" now includes 51 members,
